Farm Bureau and the Detroit Pistons recently teamed up to give a school makeover to Detroit’s J.E. Clark Preparatory Academy. On September 21, 2017 the J.E. Clark Prep Academy Reading Room was unveiled to the public. This project was close to home for Tectonics Detroit facility, one of three full service locations across the nation.
Tectonics partnered with The Detroit Pistons to create memorable and inspiring graphics for the Pistons’ locker room themed library. The locker room theme was brought to life with large scale printed graphics of the Detroit Pistons’ logo and team, motivational quotes from Farm Bureau and Detroit Pistons’ owner Tom Gores, and printed nameplates for above each bookshelf to resemble individual player lockers. Tectonics also devised a unique solution for the windows in the library. Custom window shades were created out of a 13 oz printed vinyl with a paneled print of the new Little Caesars Arena. All in all, Tectonics printed 20 adhesive vinyl pieces and 7 vinyl window shades.
Innovative thinking, unmatched printing capabilities and conveniently close customer service and onsite support made Tectonics the go to partner for this renovation. As you can see, the library was truly transformed into an inspiring space for the children at J.E. Clark Prep to learn and grow. At Tectonics we are proud to have been a partner in this community effort.
